Rising costs and the increasing complexity of the construction market represent a significant challenge for the entities that build and manage Public Residential Housing, creating a barrier to the much-needed expansion of the public housing supply. What support and opportunities can Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), and offsite construction in particular, provide? How can they serve as targeted solutions or as an approach capable of reducing the management costs of the housing stock? Drawing on real-world case studies and new regional initiatives, we will define a strategic roadmap for a national public housing perspective.
